Being in the process of gaining some momentum over on Dribbble and having made my first few client work experiences, I felt the need to create a website for me as a UI designer. Since I don't currently have that much more to showcase than my Dribbble work though, I decided to create a simple one-page website with some links and a slideshow of my Dribbble shots. This "temporary portfolio" is the result.

I went for a console/terminal-esque style to make it stand out from the usual "link collection" websites and, well, to incorporate a little bit of playfulness along the way. Of course it isn't a real/complete website; it's rather a placeholder until I've acquired enough content to create a real one.

Check it out: http://hellojona.me/

I've got one question though: Will people understand the command line reference? Do you? Otherwise I'll remove the whole displaySlideshowOfLatestWork() part and let the image slider display right away.

I really like it! It captivates and engages the audience which is always a positive. I like your minimal design!

I understood the displaySlideshowOfLatestWork() part, but I'm not sure that others will. :hmm:
